Shipping Information
You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. We can ship products anywhere in the United States using the shipping method identified in the checkout area of the store. When you place an order we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment’s destination. Our shipping charges are determined by the total dollar amount of your order, excluding applicable sales tax. Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations so please submit a message to us from the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss international ordering options.
Returns & Exchanges
The Poor Scholar® takes pride in providing you top quality products at an affordable price. All efforts will be made to fulfill your order exactly and promptly. However, we realize that problems can occur or products may not be to a specific liking. If you have any problems, please contact us immediately. Our courteous staff will correct the difficulty quickly and efficiently.
If you are dissatisfied with our products, we will refund your purchase price. Simply contact us via telephone or email to arrange return shipping. Any concerns or suggestions will be reviewed quickly by our staff.
Payments & Ordering
Special orders through The Poor Scholar® may involve an additional period of time for production. Our staff will inform you of the most accurate timeframe possible for production. However, with special orders an extended timeframe may be necessary. The Poor Scholar® staff will coordinate with each customer individually concerning special orders to meet the client's needs.
Back orders occur when our suppliers are temporarily out of stock for certain items. All information concerning back orders or delays will be conveyed to the customer as soon as possible. Back orders that cannot be filled and require cancellation will follow our normal cancellation procedures.

Credit card ordering is simple and fast via our website, and is always secure to safeguard your information.
Clients who wish to create an individual billing/payment schedule for their orders may easily do so. This is often desirable when continuous orders are scheduled. Our staff is ready to work with all of our clients to customize their billing in whatever ways possible.
Failure to comply with our billing schedule will jeopardize all pending orders. Non-payment will result in all appropriate legal actions being taken by The Poor Scholar®, Inc.
Cancellations
Cancellation of an order must be done before the production order has been initiated with our supplier. After the order has begun production, shipping and handling charges may be charged. All efforts will be made to assist the customer in regards to their order.
